All-around its easy to use but there are a few pieces that are as intuitive as Id like them to be. I do think Tilt is better than indiegogo because of the lower percentage they take and they have helpful tools for taking care of the process and thanking/contacting donors. I use this for my music school. This is my second campaign. I do wish there was a way to edit the profile photo.

Im not opposed to targeted marketing - in fact its the only approach that makes sense, and avoids wasting money, and time of potential clients, but this app paws through your history under the bizarre and laughable assumption that you intentionally visited every site. At least they tell you up-front that they are collecting pointless and misleading data "about you" for targeted marketing. That honest telling is what raised the rating from lowest possible. Targeted marketing needs to be based on categories of interest explicitly stated by potential clients - any other source is as unreliable as it is unethical. Get permission to access Pinterest or some such app if you want to be ethical.

Makes it dead simple to get money from your friends. I dont have to chase them down to pay - the app does it for me! I just watch the money roll in. Also, the new groups feature is incredible. I can ask for money from an entire group in one tap. Wish snapchat had a feature like that!!!

A Venmo for groups or a mini-Kickstarter, Tilt makes collecting funds easy with a simple way to track who pays, invite people, and issue refunds. They even have ways for people pitching in to designate or comment what they want.

If you have any reason whatsoever to collect money from a large group of people, USE THIS APP. Literally cut down at least a weeks worth of tracking down people and getting money into only 3 hours worth of work.

Just when I thought it couldnt get any better. Recently created a group out of the friends I tilt with on the reg, and now I can invite (and remind) them with one tap. So much easier than manually adding 25 names to a Venmo request. For some reason, everyone seems to pay up way faster too.
